Privacy Policy
Rogue Goose Labs LLC (“we”, “us”) makes AuraGoose, a wellness journal. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is kept, and the choices you have. In short: your journal stays on your device unless you turn on cloud backup, and we never sell your data or use it for advertising.
What AuraGoose stores
Everything you choose to log, which may include sleep, meals, driving, weather, mood and energy, pain, medications, exercise, stress (including work, parenting, relationship and other stress), meditation or prayer, caffeine and alcohol, bowel movements, and your app settings such as your chosen animal and its name. Some of this is health information, and we treat all of it as sensitive.

What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not use your information for advertising, and the app contains no ads or ad trackers.
- We do not share your journal with employers, insurers or data brokers.
- AuraGoose does not make medical diagnoses or predictions.
Service providers
If you turn on cloud backup, we use a cloud database provider to store and sync your encrypted backup. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site. These providers may only use the data to provide their service to us.
Your choices and rights
- Export: download your full journal as CSV or JSON from Habits → Your data.
- Delete: choose Delete all my entries in the app, turn off cloud backup and delete the cloud copy, or email us to delete any backup we hold.
- Consent: cloud backup is off until you turn it on, and you can withdraw consent at any time by turning it off.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, Washington, Nevada, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia or Texas), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal data, and to appeal our decision. Email us to make a request; we will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Security
Data sent to our cloud provider is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each person’s backup is accessible only to their own account. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
AuraGoose is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used cloud backup, contact us and we will delete it.
Retention
Data on your device stays until you delete it or remove the app. Cloud backups are kept while backup is on and are deleted within 30 days after you delete them or ask us to.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
